This place has great dependable food.They always are willing to compromise there recipe to suit our liking. If we ever have a problem which we rarely do they always correct any issues.Great food here with no complaints. If you are on this side of town, this is the Chinese food you want. I eat here at least once a week for lunch. Get the teriyaki chicken sticks. You wont regret it. I've had a few other things on the menu, like the General Tso's, and they were all fantastic, but the teriyaki chicken is my regular order. The staff is very friendly and polite. The food come fast and tastes amazing. The price is average. Definitely come eat here.

I’ve patronize this restaurant so many times without any problems. Definitely the best Chinese food on north side of Winston Salem. Customer service was great and the food was very tasty. Place looks clean, smells good, and the food was freshly cooked every time. The owner were very professional, making sure my special requests was well taken care of.

Service was fast, prices were reasonable, staff was friendly, and the place was clean. I've been looking for a place locally that offers good chop suey and just found out about this place. I can highly recommend the house chop suey, it was absolutely delicious. Try the shrimp egg rolls also they were really good.

The owners, family, and staff are awesome! I always get greeted with a smile and my order is always correct, fresh, and delicious. I've been eating here since 2005! I left my credit card there one time and they kept it safe, so not only are they trustworthy but just good chefs and wholesome people! They also have the best takeout Chinese Food in town and give you a cool Christmas Calendar I use every year! Thank you East China Staff for being consistently great! You know I'll be back to see you soon!

Had This Lastnight! BEST GENERAL TSO'S IN THE AREA! I've Tried So Many Chinese Restaurants Attempting To Get The General Tsos That Tasted Like My Chinese Shop From TX And I've Finally Found It!!!!I Ordered 2 General Tsos, teriyaki Chicken, Crab Ragoo, And Shrimp Egg Rolls. Everything Was Delicious!!!! Very Eye Catching Like The Pictures Posted On Here! Great Job! I Will Be Here Again!!!!!!!!!!I RECOMMEND!

I'm not usually a big fan of Chinese food. I can take it or leave it. I don't like the sauces. This place leaves them separated so that you can use them as much or as little as you'd like. It was fast, hot, and fresh. And you get a lot of food for the price. This place is gonna go on my normal rotation of places to eat at. Thank you!!!!

The food is always fresh, egg rolls have that perfect crunch and the fried rice is never greasy. Our go-to Chinese takeout for years and will continue to go back. The staff is always friendly as well!

UpdatedVisited a few days ago and the food just wasn't the same. It didn't taste like it usually does. The chicken was a little chewy and the egg rolls were extremely overcooked. Not sure what happened. I've been going here for a long time and I've never had issues before. I didn't call because after arriving home with a toddler I wasn't going back out. I hope next time it can be back to normal. Older review:excellent. The only complaint I really have is their prices. They are a little steeper than other local places. Almost $10 for a dinner combo seems like a lot to me. Most local places are around $8. I'm pretty sure their prices have went up over the years as everyone has. But I guess it goes back to you get what you pay for. Those other places are good pick me ups and great prices but this place always taste much better and better quality.

East china is one of my favorite takeout spots. The food is always good and cooked very fast.

Pretty much good fresh food because they are busy..tried a few things can't complain..Just now brought my food home after ordering 3 packs of crispy noodles extra that we eat with our soup and the main course.you guys changed to some other kind of generic noodle. Not good.they went in the trash. Pork fried rice is nothing like it used to beJust specks of pork in it..10-24-19

I just want to start off by saying this place was fast, the food was hot, the packaging was nice and overall pleasant. After reading other reviews on here I’m going to try to figure out how to request more sauce like that dark brown goodness that usually sinks to the bottom. It was a little bland but I’d order from here again and I do appreciate you guys being open and encouraging a conversation about your food with customers. So great job! I’m sure next time it’ll be five stars.

Hands down best Chinese restaurant in Winston Salem. We tried different places and even buffets don't match the great taste of East China. The owners are amazing people and the cooks are awesome. Never waited more than 10 minutes for our order. Keep up the great work!

My friend recommended this place, and I have to say it was better than expected. Place is clean, food tasted very good for the price and service is excellent. General Tso’s Chicken and hot & spicy beef was phenomenal. The hot and sour soup was very flavorful. You can request not spicy btw. But I like mine spicy. Definitely earned my business.

We always get Quick service for take-out. Portions are large & food is good.

My family and I eat here regularly. Food is always fresh and hot, not to mention tasty! I have noticed over the years that when you go in you get treated like you treat them, so if your server wasn't "nice" to you, maybe you should take a look at yourself. I have eaten here hundreds of times and never seen a bad attitude, except when one was deserved.
